The Arc de Triomphe

Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile isn't as famous as the Eiffel Tower. But it is one of the most famous monument in Paris. It is located at the Place Charles de Gaulle which is also known as the Place de l'Étoile.

Something that draw my attention is the most famous and luxury street in Paris. Yeaa. It's Avenue des Champs-Élysées which is also located near this monument. I'm not even surprised that this place is crowded every day. Although in weekdays the cafe around this area still fully loaded with local people and tourist from around the world.

Okaayy,, Back to Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile.
This monument was built in purpose to honor the combatant which have fight for France in the French Revolutionary and the Napoleonic Wars. The main thing, this monument was built for warrior who have died in the past. Because in every single inches of this monument write down the brave one. In point of fact it's inner and outer surface is sculptured by the name of the generals. And beneath the monument there is a tomb of the unknown soldier from World War 1.

The unique part of the tomb is the eternal flame which is lit and never goes out. It happens because of the natural gas. And it's known as the first eternal flame in Western Europe. Therefore it has attract millions of tourist from around the world to visit it. This flame is expected to burn all of the bad memories in World War 1. And every 11th November a ceremony was held to honor the fighter who had passed away.
