Rest In Peace : Our Best Dog !

Loly has passed away several years ago. Thousands of wonderful memories had we spent together. I still remember how these two puppies came to my house. But today we should hardly let Princess, Loly's sister to rest in peace. This post is written one day prior before her death. Maybe you could laugh at me when you read this post. Indeed, it really hard for me to giving up their death.

I still remember clearly how our story begins. Our grandmother sent us (my sister and I ) a birthday present. It was wrapped with a huge cardboard. I was 4 years old and my sister was only 7 years old if I didn't mistaken. When we open our birthday present we realized that inside that huge box there were two little black puppies. We were really happy to see those two puppies. Those two puppies are sisters, but they never got along. We usually got into a trouble when they got in a fight. It was so difficult to compose them both. Until one afternoon, they got in a furious fight. They sound cruel and bite each other. We tried to separate them by using broom and flush them with water but it was useless. For several minutes they continue to fight, my sister has been very hysterical to see them both fighting. Princess won the fight, Loly ran away and hide in the bushes. We found Loly bleed while she was hiding in the bushes in front of my sister's room. We tried to help her but it was too late. She died.

After several years of her death, we notice that Princess's bust that there were sort of injury arising. The bump get bigger and bigger so we brought her to animal hospital in Surabaya. The doctor said that she was contracted breast tumor. We were sad to hear that, the doctor said that let the tumor alone first. Her condition get worse and worse since the tumor get bigger and bigger. Last time, the bump has reached the size of an adult fist and bleed. We brought her to the hospital again and planned to help her death. But the doctor said that just let her live or just bring her to another hospital because the doctor was no longer able to handle it.

Today, the bump bleed again. My sister became really panic and brought her to the hospital that known as the best animal hospital in Surabaya. I believe that the doctors there are better than the previous one. When my sister arrived at the hospital the doctors suggest us to remove the tumor by an operation. But, when they check my Princess's blood they found that there are cancer found. So the doctor suggest to help her die because it's impossible to cure her with her tumor and cancer. This post was made to honor and remember my dog. My dog will always be in our heart. Them both has contributed well as a part of our family. They never be bored to keep the house safe when we are going out, they never fussy about what they eat like the other dogs in general, they always help to keep the mouses, cats, and even lizard stay away from our house. Even though, they usually barged into the house there are much more happy memories about them that will always still in our heart because dog is a man's best friend. Good bye my dog, I wish you will be happier up there.

Piazza dei Miracoli

When we went to Italy to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa, we found that Pisa tower is standing in a broad garden with the two other buildings . Actually, we went there in purpose to visit the Leaning Tower however I also took some picture of its surroundings including these building. Yesterday, I turned on my laptop and try to find out what building that I captured at that moment.

I found that this place that I capture called as Piazza dei Miracoli or also known as Piazza del Duomo. Piazza del Duomo means Cathedral square as indeed this place is a place where  is dominated by four great sacred edifices: the Pisa Cathedral, the Pisa Baptistry, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the Camposanto Monumentale (Monumental Cemetery) is standing until today. The Piazza dei Miracoli is recognized as an important center of European medieval art and one of the finest architectural complexes in the world. Unfortunately, I don't know that fact at that moment and didn't come  to see what's inside. So as you can see in the photo below, the enormous building is the Pisa Cathedral and The round Romanesque building is known as the Pisa Baptistry.

Chatuchak Weekend Market

We were lucky that we still stay in Bangkok on Saturday and Sunday.
Because in Saturday and Sunday there is a traditional market and only open during weekend.
Based on the information that I got, this weekend market is the biggest in the world ! Which visited by 200,000 visitors every weekend and is called as the Chatuchak Weekend Market.

This market is very famous for its street food and also famous for its cheap prices. You could find merchatns who sell outfits in a quite cheap price. I really recommend you to buy your shopping list right here. But do not forget to bargain, because sometimes there are some merchants who sells some stuffs more expensive to get higher profit. You might could bargain about 20-40% cheaper from the price they offer you. But it does not always applicable.Sometimes they won't give you the stuff if you ask too low price as there are some merchants who had sells stuffs with thin profit.

Chatuchak Weekend Market is one of few traditional markets in Thailand which is still surviving. I really recommend you to visit this market because we won't know when this kind of market will be disappear as the time goes by. As nowadays people and tourists are not too interested with the traditional markets. This thing make the merchants also leaving traditional market and moving to the mall and modern market because they could increase their earnings in the mall. In another word, this market is a worthy place to be visited.

By the way, if you got a chance to visit the Chatuchak Weekend Market, you should try Thai tea as it's tastes wonderful. You won't get that taste in your hometown. I had tried Thai tea in Thailand and I definitely gonna drink it again in another opportunity. So, this is some photos that I took in Chatuchak Weekend Market.

Leaning Tower of Pisa

This Tower has become one of the Italy's travel icons. This tower is very famous therefore every people in this world gonna directly recognize this leaning tower. But, there are some information that the people don't know.

Maybe you only recognize this leaning building. But actually this building is only a bell tower which is divided into seven floors  located near the third oldest building in Pisa's cathedral square which known as Piazza del Duomo. But what makes it famous is its unintended. It unintended tilt to one side and it is very rare to find. Normally, a sloping building gonna collapse easily. But different thing happen to this building. It was built in 1319 and still standing still until today. Its tilt condition was caused by an inadequate foundation on ground too soft on one side to properly support the structure's weight.

So, would this building gonna be fall in several years ? hundred years? or even thousand years ? We didn't know what gonna happen. Or maybe it won't be collapse ? We totally can't predict it as it has stand for a long time and didn't experiencing any serious problems.
Therefore, I recommend you to visit this leaning tower because this tower is very famous around the world. It's kind of an achievement if you had visited this tower. Secondly, If we look at this tower structure, no one knows when this structure gonna be vanish as I had told you before.

St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican, Vatican

Tips :

If you are planning to visit this church for traveling purposes, I would recommend you to go out from this church before the devotions begin. It gonna be so hard for you to go out from the church and the city after the devotion begins as they gonna close some street access and the situation will be also exacerbated by how crowded this place is.

Secondly, I really don't recommend you to use flash inside the church as it will disturb the others who come to worship. I hope you gonna understand and could respect each other because this is a holy place.

Rating :

Excellent
I love to get extra destination on my itinerary. It isn't far from Rome and offer tourist the to see and feel the most famous Late Renaissance building. Moreover, for Christian people, while you are visiting this church, it's gonna be better if you pray here too.

Bridge of Sighs

This article is still related with Casanova
As you can see the Bridge of Sighs is a normal bridge. But it has a deep, interesting history behind it.
It is located in Venice, right where Casanova lived and was built in 1602. It passes over the Rio di Palazzo and connects the New Prison to the interrogation rooms in the Doge's Palace. And some people believe that Casanova had ever passed this bridge and was jailed in the New Prison.

The bridge of sighs was named by Lord Byron in the 19th century. Its named as the bridge of sighs because the prisoners whoever come to this prison would sigh at their final view of beautiful Venice through the window before being taken down to their cells.

If you had a chance to go to Venice as a couple, there is a local legends that says that lovers will be granted eternal love and bliss if they kiss on gondola at sunset under the bridge of sighs.

Swiss Guards

Hey there !
Do you remember when I told you that Vatican have the Swiss guard that in duty to guard the Pope ?
Yes ? No ? *click no to go to the post I wrote before.

Swiss Guard, Vatican, Vatican
Today we gonna talk about Swiss guard separately.
First of all, who is Swiss guard ? They are Swiss Army who work to guard someone or something at foreign European courts since the 15th century. So it is not surprising if you could find Swiss Guards in Vatican.
Nowadays, these Swiss Guards can't be separated with the Vatican city as it has been refereed as the Pontifical Swiss Guard of the Holy See.

Then, where to find them ? They are guarding around the St.Peter's Basilica Church. You could find them easily by going around this church. They should be there to protect this Church from a "troublemaker" because this Church is considered as one of several historical sites. This Church has Michael Angelo's drawings which is be sought by thousands of collectors, a place where is suspected as St.Peter's burial, and still many important histories parts which I can't mention one by one.

The most important thing is why do they are exist in Vatican ?
The story begun since Pope Sixtus IV's era. He made a previous alliance with the Swiss Confederation. As they are alliance Vatican recruit the Swiss Guard due to protect the St. Peter's Basilica and also the Pope. Moreover, Vatican want a guard from a neutral country, and Switzerland is one of them. Vatican need guard from neutral country to avoid political purposes between countries.

Inner Part of Duomo di Milano

One of my reader asked me to write about the interior of the Duomo di Milano. Actually, I was planning to did it before he asked me to. But to make him curious, I delayed this post for several months. Hahaha
So, this is it, the interior part of the Duomo di Milano, Italy. As I had told you before, that we couldn't take picture inside this cathedral. However, when I was coming in, I saw many tourists were taking photos inside this building. As I was not the only man who eager to take this cathedral picture, I encouraged myself to take some pictures with the risk of being reprimanded by the cathedral staff or even worse, the bunch of armies that guard this building.

When I came in this building, my first word is "wow". This building is awesome. Maybe for you guys who live around Europe, this building isn't special as I told you. But for me, a person who come from Asian. This building is very hard to find. Even if I could find one, it is not as wonderful as I saw at that time. So, what I saw inside?

This Cathedral isn't as busy as the one in Vatican. But this cathedral still exist in my top ten busiest church that I had ever visit before. As I rarely visit church when I travelling. Hahaha. Yet, seriously this church is quite busy and crowded even though it isn't Sunday. Many people come to the left side of this Church, turn on a candle and pray. I don't know what does it means as I am a Christian and and not a Catholic. And at the center of the building there are rows of chairs that I guess a place where people come and pray. I also prayed to Jesus at that time inside that cathedral. I told HIM that I am grateful to be blessed and got a chance to visit Europe that I had never imagine before. And it feels awesome. Then, moving to the right part of this building there is several rooms made of wood. My friend told me that it is a place where you could confess sins that you had done.

Duomo di Milano, Milan, Italy
For those who want to visit this Cathedral and want to take some pictures inside. I suggest you to respect the others who are worshiping. Do not using flash as it will disturb them. I know that the picture gonna be quite dark as you couldn't use your flash. But I had tried to edit it and it looks like picture above.

If you love photography as the same as me. This place gonna be a good spot to take some photos. But if you are going to take some photos please read my post first before you took some. Happy travelling !

Vending Machine, Jeju Island, South Korea

Okay, I'll tell you a little bit story about this photo below. This picture was taken when I was travelling to Jeju Island, South Korea. Based on Wikipedia, vending machine is machine which dispenses items such as snacks, beverages, alcohol, cigarettes, lottery tickets, cologne, consumer products and even gold and gems to customers automatically, after the customer inserts currency or credit into the machine. At that time, I had never saw a vending machine before as it is very rare in my hometown. I admired these vending machine as when I was a little I often saw a vending machine in several cartoons programs but I never saw it. When I traveled to Jeju Island, South Korea, when we were heading to watch a show called "Nanta Show", I saw a vending machine stood there. As usual, I took this picture using my SLR. However I edited this picture using my tablet and gave it HDR and vintage effect to represent my memory in my childhood.

Do and Don't in Thailand

I went to Thailand last Christmas. I visited many interesting places. Several of these interesting places are also known as temple. I realized that many of you gonna feel bored and doesn't feel interested with those places. But, for me temple is one of my best places to capture great moments.

When I went to Wat Pho temple I met a monk around the temple. He was moving around and around the temple. I took his picture because the monks have a strong relation with Thailand because majority of the Thai people are Buddhist. I can feel the atmosphere and recall my memories in Thailand by observing this photo. From this picture I felt that I wanna know more about Thai Traditions as we are in the same continent and Thailand is one of few countries that still hold their traditions firmly. So this is some tips that gonna be very useful when you are in Thailand.

1. Do dress appropriately and conservatively.

When you are visiting Thailand and planning to visit some temples. You should wearing conservative dress, a footwear that has a strap so that it isn't known as slippers.

2. Do step around People

If anyone is sitting on the floor. Do not step over him or even step over him. Instead, walk around. Because it is rude to step over people

3. Treat a book respectful

Thai people believe that books are a place where people could get education. Therefore, they believe that book should be treat respectful

Thailand Monk, Bangkok, Thailand

1. Don't do or even say something that disrespectful their king.

Thai people love their king. There is king's photos everywhere along the street. You could be arrested if you do or even say something that disrespectful and also to the royal family.

2. Do not point your feet to anyone.

For Thai people, feet are looked as an unclean part of human body. So, showing your "unclean" body part gonna be so rude for them. I suggest you do not do that during your holiday in Thailand.

3. Take off your shoes before come into the temple or someone's house.

This thing is happening in many countries in Asian continent. Indonesian people also do this due value politeness.

4. It will be better if you don't shake someone's hand.

Not all Thai people accustomed with this western customs. Thai people are used to put both of their palm together like in prayer.

5. Do not touch someone's head

For Thai people, their head is a sacred part of their body. Only the monk are allowed to touch their forehead to bless them. I didn't suggest you to this unless you have asked the person's permission before touching their head.

The Reclining Buddha

Firstly, we went to Wat Pho Temple to see the famous reclining Buddha. There was a little change on our itinerary because our driver predicted that the Royal Palace that should be our first destination in Thailand gonna be full of bus and of course a bunch of tourists around the world. This is one of the the advantages of having a local tour in your destination.

Before we enter the Wat Pho temple, of course we should buy a ticket first. You should pay 100 bath for the ticket. But as a return you could exchange your ticket after you went inside with a bottle of mineral water. You don't have to pay again for the mineral water. As an information, this temple is open at 8 AM and close at 5 PM in the afternoon.

It was quite crowded when I came there. Many people including us was busy to open our shoes and sandals because based on the temple rules that we should took of our footwear. Instead, they also gave us a bag to put our shoes in it so that we didn't have to brought our shoes with our hand that gonna quite annoying for some tourists.

So, what is so special about this temple ?
As I stated before this place is famous for its reclining Buddha. The figure is located inside a building and when you come inside you gonna found a 15 meters tall, 46 meters long Buddha and covered by gold leaf!

The Reclining Buddha between the Pillars, Bangkok, Thailand

Tips :

When you are going to this temple, I suggest you to wear an inappropriate outfit to respect the Buddhist and also it has become of of several rules before you entering the temples. If the officer/ employee find you wearing an inappropriate outfit such as short pants, sleeveless shirt and others they gonna ask you to rent a piece of cloth that you should pay to enter the temples. Moreover, I really recommend you to wear sandals when you are visiting Thailand because you must took off your shoes in many places, and I know that it is quite troublesome when you have to open your shoes frequently. I also gonna tell you some places where you should take off your shoes so that you gonna realize that slippers are really fit the tourists when going abroad to Thailand.

The Reclining Buddha, Bangkok, Thailand

Rating :

Fair
I rated fair for this destination as this destination has a huge area but they haven't be developed. This attraction just focusing on the reclining Buddha and become quite boring when you are going around. I hope they gonna developed the other area of this attraction.

First Day, First Impression

After four hours flight, finally we arrived at Bangkok,Thailand. Our flight was delayed for an hour and it really made me extremely bored that I should waited in the airport. I really eager to fly that day as it is Christmas holiday dudes, time to relax and time to travelling. Hahaha

We arrived at Don Mueang (DMK) around 9.30 PM and our guide has waited right on the meeting point that we have approved before. As an information that Don Mueang airport is one of two airports in Bangkok,Thailand. Don Mueng airport also considered as the one of several oldest airport that still operating till today.

"First impression gonna be very awkward". That was the only sentence that I said to my mom right before we went out from the airport building and met our guide. I was very touched when I saw her waiting for us while the airport has deserted as our flight was delayed till late night. We introduced each other and went in to a mini bus. Tadaaa, so this mini bus gonna took us went around Thailand for five days. Our guide also introduced our driver too. She told us that he was a professional driver that she usually work with. His name is El, as I am younger than him, I called him Phi El. Phi is use for calling someone that older than you in Thailand. This is Asia culture, we should respect the older people by a certain call. Every country has a different call. Right before I went home I really realized that what she told us on the first day isn't a mere illusion. But indeed, they are really professional. I really appreciate it.

From the airport to our hotel it took around half an hour. We took mandarin hotel as our choice because they have a great reputation. We haven't eat anything within the flight so that we asked her to bring us to a restaurant so that we could have our supper. Then, she brought us to a restaurant near our hotel. This is the first impression that I got from Thailand, they have thousands of delicious food! As we got inside, we directly ordered our meals. This restaurant sells everything that related with duck. The dish gonna be on our video in Thailand as I felt that this meal should be in our video as it is delicious.

After we filled our tummy with duck we went to our hotel to take a rest. As in Thailand, Mandarin hotel isn't as famous as in Singapore I want to show you the room, they have a clean and comfortable rooms. We enjoy to stay in this hotel. Not like what was happening in Pattaya. The hotel in Pattaya is really different with this hotel. But I am gonna tell you what happened to us in Pattaya in the next post.  Happy Travelling !

By the way, this post wasn't created for promotions. We just felt satisfied with this hotel service and want to share with you guys. Travelshroom didn't earn any money at all from this post. Thankyou

Thailand Trip Introduction

Sorry guys!
I just back from my latest trip.
I went to Thailand during my Christmas holiday. I went there for 5 days and 4 nights. We had a great time right there.

On our trip to Thailand we went to Bangkok and Pattaya which is famous in Thailand. We went to Thailand by a budget airline which is quite famous nowadays. We are lucky that we got a ticket with a fair price for high season period as we bought our ticket close near our departure date and it really against my tips. Actually there is a chance that you get cheap ticket near the departure date. But the chance is really small. So I didn't recommend you to buy ticket as I did because luck doesn't always come in the right time.

For the tour, I chose a local tour which provided us Indonesian speaking guide so that the information will be conveyed properly. I found that we could get cheaper price when you are taking local tour in your destination. The tour that we chose engaged in Indonesia and China market. Personally, I really felt very satisfied with this tour service especially their guide and driver which had serviced us well. In my opinion, our tour guide worked sincerely and being a guide has been her hobby. Even though we isn't traveled in a long period, our family has braid good relationship with her as she is very friendly. We hanged out together, and having a great time together for five days long. Secondly, our driver drove very properly. When we were delivered to some certain places such as gem factory that should be delivered by another driver, I found that our driver have a better driving skills and attitude. We felt very thankful to have both guide and driver as good as you guys that had brought us to several wonderful places and treat us so that we could have a pleasant time in Thailand. We are sorry if there some words that had hurt your feelings. Some of them are jokes and maybe some of them were came out from our mouth accidentally. I hope the bad memory could vanish and the lovely memories gonna still and stay forever.

Actually, we were really sad that we should go home after five days in Thailand as we could met one of our friends. This post is dedicated to our tour guide as our complimentary. We hope that we gonna meet her again in another opportunity. I really recommend her tour service and if anybody need to contact her you could ask me her contact details.

Travelshroom having a Great time in Thailand

Regard,
Travelshroom and family

By the way, Travelshroom and family also wanna say HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014 for everyone. New year means new day. New day means new challanges. New challanges means the more mature we are. May God bless us all. Jesus Bless You!

Story of Casanova

In our West European trip, we visited to many cities that famous for its romanticism. Paris,Rome is several examples of them. But we almost forgot something.

Moving from Rome with a speed boat, our boat pulled to a crowded city. I found that this city is surrounded by water and shaded by the sun. When I got down from the boat, I wore my sunglasses as the sun shined so strong that day. As soon as I could see clearly I saw a lady that wore a mask offered the people to take a photo with her. It is very usual in Europe that there are some people who try to earn some money by wearing some costumes that related to that area and offer the people to take a photo with themselves and asking for some tips after the people took some photos with them.

The Casanova Lady, Venice, Italy

But I remembered something! Yea, it is Casanova ! This is Venice!
The mighty guy who are good at seducing. He has became a legend in this city.
So, who was Casanova ?
I believe He was a man who have a high intelligence. Why I said it so ? Because he had entered the university by his age was twelve! What a man. hahahaha
Unfortunately he can't use his intelligence wisely so that he was entangled by many legal issues. Some reasons that caused him jailed was because of his debts and he was accused for his many sexual and romantic exploits in 18th-century Europe because of his romanticism stories with several girls. As a result, he had got through the bridge of sighs and got thrown into the jail several times but he also fled away for several times. But at the end of his life he was seized by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1797 and died on that year. He was 73 years old when he died on that year.

Jet d'Eau

As you can see that Jet d'Eau is a large fountain in Geneva,Switzerland. Precisely, it is located in Lake Geneva.  Jet d'Eau has been one of the most famous landmarks in Switzerland, as it has been crowned as one of the largest fountain in world.

The fact is, based on the Wikipedia it states that five hundreds liters or about 132 gallons of water are jetted every second and this fountain is consuming over one megawatt of electricity. I believe that the government has spent a huge amount of money for this fountain.

Jet d'Eau with a Geneve Paquis Sign

This 'Expensive' fountain was first installed in 1886 and wasn't at its current place right now. It was located at the Usine de la Coulouvrenière, a little further downstream from its present location. Yet, in 1891, its aesthetic value was recognized and was moved to its current location today, in purpose to celebrate  the Federal Gymnastics Festival and the 600th anniversary of the Swiss Confederation. And this fountain has been operated everyday except if there is frost or hard wind. Moreover this fountain has attracted millions of tourists to visit this fountain in Geneva,Switzerland.

The Colloseum

Colloseum is an amphitheater in the city center of Rome, Italy. Colloseum has been considered as the greatest works of Roman engineering and architecture which is the largest in the world and has become one of the UNESCO World Heritage site. Unfortunately it recently damaged by a major earthquake.

We all know that the colloseum was used by the gladiator to fight. But there's also other activies which was held in the colloseum such as mock sea battles, animal hunts, executions, re-enactments of famous battles, and dramas based on Classical mythology. As the main purpose why this amphitheater was built because the government wanted to entertain their citizens. They hope to be chosen for the next election because they have give happiness to their citizens.  But I really don't have any idea why they gave their own citizens with this kind of entertainment which is contain violence.

Nowadays even the television program is divide into several maturity levels. There are some programs which is aren't inappropriate for children which is under 17 years old. And there are also some programs which need parental guide. And it's considered as very very important thing by many person whether the goverment even the citizens. But why in the past the goverment didn't think about it. There is a big question mark in my head. How were the youngsters mental condition because as we know they were grown up in a condition which full of violences within their surroundings.

The Louvre

General Information :

Museum Louvre or also known as The Louvre is one of the biggest museum in the world. Therefore, this museum has become a landmark of Paris,France. This enormous museum is located on the Right Bank of the Seine and completed its structure in 1874. Why I called it as an enormous museum? I called it that way because this museum is built on over 60,600 meters feet land with 35.000 object in it. So it is no surprising that more than eight million visitors are visiting this museum each year.

"Why there is a pyramid in Louvre museum josh ? " http://eemoticons.net
Okay I'll try to explain it to you shroom.
So there is four of them in The Louvre courtyard. At the beginning of opening, The Louvre didn't have any pyramid. Yet, In the year of 1874, The Louvre built a pyramid due to divide the numbers of visitors everyday as the main lobby already too dense. Visitors who enter this pyramid will be taken to the spacious lobby then re-ascend into the main Louvre lobby.

My Story :

We got back to hotel after see the Eiffel Tower. On the next day, early in the morning, we continued our trip by bus and went to the most famous museum in Paris. It's also one of the most famous museums in the world. Yea, it is The Louvre. As I had mentioned before that this museum is located on the Right Bank of the Seine. Unfortunately, we didn't get inside, but just looked around and took some pictures for our memory. All of the tour member suddenly disappear and become busy with their own business. Mostly, the take their own picture in front of this museum. But I had something different to do.Actually, I didn't too like to be photographed. I prefer to take the picture of a landscape and share it on the blog for you guys. When I was aiming this museum with my camera I suddenly realized that I didn't bring any wide angle lenses. I couldn't put this building as a whole even though I had went away from this building and hoped to be able to took this museum picture in a whole! Oh my God! What a regret. This museum is really enormous! I feel very sad that I couldn't take the picture of this building. After around half an hour took some pictures, people were started to gather up and ready to go and continue our trip. The reason that we decided not to enter this museum because of our tight itinerary and also we believe that we won't have enough time to see the entire part of this museum. So this is Louvre museum with its glass pyramid that I took when I was going to Paris.

Kuta Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Indonesia, especially in Bali. Kuta is famous within local and international tourists for its wonderful sunset and its hot climate that really fit for those who craving to be having a tan skin. For me, this beach is a must visit beach if you have a chance to visit Bali. I guarantee that Bali is wonderful. Many people love to visit Bali. In addition to the beauty of the sunset, this beach also offer the tourist to enjoy other activities that majority is managed by the local community. They are offering the tourist to enjoy the beach by doing water sport. Generally, the water sport they offer is surfing, parasailing, and banana boat. On this beach you also will find local people who offering for your hair plaited, ask you to make a temporary tattoo, offer you something to drink or even renting umbrellas to tourist. These local people usually gonna offer those service for a certain price. But the price isn't a nett price. Sometimes you could bargain the price because sometimes there are some merchants who offer high price to the tourists.

My Story :

As I had told you before that these local people is quite friendly. When I visited Bali, I went to Kuta beach. When I was waiting for the sunset, I was looking for some photos on the beach. While I was taking some photos, suddenly there was a man who talked to me. He asked where do I come from. After we had a short conversation, he started to suggest me some place to visit in Bali. I found that those information that I got from that man is really turns helpful. But the most interesting part of this beach is its enterance gate. The enterance gate is exotic. With the ornaments on it, it separates the crowd of the town with the joy of the warm beach. I stayed right on the beach til the sunset.

Tips:

1.Do not forget to use your cream. It might be sunblock or even cream that help your skin become tan. The main thing is to keep your skin keep healthy and doesn't get burned.

2. I do not recommend you to bring your private car as the parking lot isn't broad enough/

Fair
This beach offer you a lot of fun. White sand, great water sport, and beautiful sunset is a great package of happiness. But really have to improve this beach cleanliness. But I believe that cleanliness can only be obtained if the tourist and local people help the government by keeping this beach clean.

Introduction to Bali

I'd have to say Bali's my favorite place that I've visited.

-Christopher Meloni

Bali has become one of the most famous attraction in the world. Bali has attracted millions of tourist to come and feel its exoticism. Many of the tourist feel satisfied and becoming Bali as their favorite place.

Actually Bali is the smallest province in Indonesia with 4.22 million population. Majority of their citizens are really friendly. They are really "open" to foreign cultures, while still keeping their original cultures. As a result, this province is known for its artwork such as traditional dance, sculpture, and also musics.

You still haven't come to Bali if you haven't come to its beachFor me the most special thing about Bali is its beach. The heat of the sun is really right for sunbathing. The sand is quite warm. Attract you to take off your footwear and enjoy the warmth of the sand. The waves on the edge of the beach swash gently. But after you go several feet, it will be suitable for surfing. At dusk, enjoy the sun set. Bali is really suitable for a brief rest.

The people is also friendly. You gonna find people who will try to communicate with you. In Indonesia it is strange if a strangers attempt to talk with you. But it is an exception in Bali. In another word, Bali is a heaven for thousands of people.

Italy - Vatican Border

A sacred, small, strong country which is located near Italy.
Vatican is the smallest country in the world.
When I visited this country I asked my self some questions. One of them was why did the other countries did not attempt to invade this country as sometimes big countries will attempt to overcome the small countries. As soon as I went home, I try to find out why do these country especially Italy that is located near this country didn't invade Vatican?
Aside of the UN (United Nations) presence. In my opinion, they couldn't invade this country because this country is the center of the Catholic religion, so many countries especially countries that predominantly Catholic will protect Vatican.

Actually Vatican have no armed force. However, they have Swiss Guard. The Swiss Guard should guard the Pope. They are being responsible of the Pope's safety. They also should protect Pope's residence which is called Apostolic Place. Yet, I'm not going to talk about the Swiss Guard for today. I'm going to talk about it in the next opportunity. They is still a myriad interesting facts that I'm gonna tell you.

Jumping from Italy to Vatican.
It was only a step to go across this two country. Only a step through the fence and you have go to another country. Behind you is the country that famous for its pasta and in front of you there stand a big church. A church which is crowned as the first church which was built above St.Pete's tomb in 326. The famous church which is called St. Peter's Basilica. These picture below portray how close these two countries. Those two are only limited by a fence.
